Sherwood

Sherwood is a bedroom community located north of North Little Rock. The city has a population of 26,381 after anexing the neighboring community of Gravel Ridge in early 2008. Sherwood is the 16th largest city in Arkansas, behind Benton.

Sherwood is home to several public and private schools. The city's public schools are managed by the Pulaski County Special School District and the city's public high school is Sylvan Hills High School. Abundant Life School is a private facility that educates through grade 12. Other private schools in Sherwood include Victory Baptist Elementary School and Central Arkansas Christian School.
