Central Arkansas

Central Arkansas is the Natural State’s center for tourism, culture and business. The metropolitan area encompases five counties and is one of the top destinations in the United States for conferences, meetings and conventions.

Central Arkansas is the center of it all in the Natural State, indeed in the Mid-South.

Typically Pulaski, Prairie, Saline, Faulkner, and Lonoke counties are considered Central Arkansas. The region encompasses 600,000 people, and is home to exciting cities, including Little Rock, the state capitol. There also are historic landmarks and untold natural beauty. The best known cities in the region are Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Maumelle, Conway, Cabot and Jacksonville. Also included in the region are the outlying cities of Benton, Bryant, and Lonoke.
